Welcome to the Sunflower Alternative School website! 

I am pleased to be the new principal of alternative education for COUSD.  I am honored to work with a dedicated group of teachers and support staff who pull together to help every student realize his or her talents and experience success in school.  The Sunflower Staff treats every student as an individual and embraces the philosophy that all students do not learn in the same way.  We have wonderful students in the various programs offered at our site who make coming to work each day a pleasure!  We also have families who genuinely care about the success of their children.  We believe that students do best with the support of staff and families working together.
