Curriculum Standards

The Charter Oak Unified School District Governing Board has formally adopted state academic standards in the areas of English Language Arts, English language Development, Mathematics, Science, History-Social Science, and Visual and Performing Arts. Charter Oak recognizes that districtwide content and performance standards are necessary to clarify for students, parents/guardians and staff what students are expected to know and be able to do at each grade level and in each area of study.

School Accountability Report Card (SARC)

Public schools throughout California are required to provide information about themselves to the community in the form of an annual SARC. These report cards provide a variety of data to allow the public to evaluate and compare schools in seven major areas:

• Curriculum and instruction
